   Each of us are spiritual beings who live in temporary bodies. Nothing is more important than our soul, not even the world. Jesus asked "What can man exchange for his soul?"

   The world tends to make us numb to the desires of our spirit. Our spirit needs God, his Word, his Spirit. Apart from Christ, we are nothing.

   Destiny puts the needs of the spirit front and center. Join with us in these things that refresh our spirits:

   - reading the Bible completely through, even like the senior pastor and other church leaders are doing

   - visit the Thursday evening prayer gathering

   - commit to a "discipleship group" on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm

   - take notes on the inspiring Scriptural sermons each Sunday morning and Wednesday evening

   - in the words of the children's song, "Read your Bible, pray every day...so you'll grow, grow, grow."
